“Our Favorite B&B!”
We absolutely love The Baywood! The service is fantastic, the home-cooked breakfasts are to die for and the view from the back yard and balconies could not be any better! The owners are so friendly and courteous and go above and beyond to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. This was our second trip to The Baywood and we will definitely stay there again in the future!
“Cape Charles Delight”
Great B&B and gracious owner. The breakfasts were near perfect, not too much, not too little, with fresh fruit, tasty quiches and wonderful homemade (secret recipe) muffins. The fitness trail is literally across hwy 13, whereupon you can walk, run, ride, a bike for several miles. Very nice time there.
“Another Excellent Stay”
After visiting last year and now knowing what to expect, my husband and I returned this year to celebrate our anniversary. Although the weather wasn’t the best, we still enjoyed our stay. As expected, Mike was friendly, provided endless knowledge and recommendations and was all around gracious, considerate and accommodating. With popularity growing, we came home and immediately booked our stay for next year.
“Excellent in Every Way!”
This is absolutely a gem. We came down because I was running the Shamrock Marathon. Our host Mike made sure our stay was perfect in every way, including early morning coffee on race day. The muffins and quiche were fabulous, and we enjoyed exploring the area. Mike gave us many great tips, and I loved that he was a history buff, and knew much of the local history. The room was beautiful, the view was awesome, and the bed was comfy. Don’t even hesitate to stay here. I’m a restaurant owner, and I’m very tuned in to hospitality, and this was first rate.
